Seth and May are both releasing new solo albums this month!
Seth Bernard will be releasing his new solo album “Is This you?”, a companion piece to his album “This Here”. “Is This You” takes you on a deep journey enriching the songs from “This Here” with seven new songs. The album was recorded in Michigan at the heart center studio and features an amazing cast of musicians. Engineered by Ian Gorman and mastered by Glenn Brown.
Seth will be performing release concerts featuring: Joshua Davis, Dominic Davis, Michael Shimmin and May Erlewine. With very special guests Mike and Ruthy, traveling from upstate New York.
May 6th at Short’s Brewery in Bellaire 8pm
May 7th at the Loading Dock in Traverse city 9:30pm
May 8th at the Strutt Café in Kalamazoo 9pm
May 9th at Salt of the Earth in Fennville 7pm
May Erlewine will be releasing her 5th solo project titled “golden”. The album was recorded at Earthwork Farm in October, 2009. A new collection of songs recorded with her dearest friends at home. Soup was on the stove and the amps were in the kitchen! Engineered by Ian Gorman and mastered by Glenn Brown.
May will be performing release concerts featuring: Joshua Davis, Dominic Davis, Michael Shimmin and Seth Bernard.
May 13th (her 28th birthday) At Short’s Brewery in Bellaire. 8pm
For those of you that haven't gotten around to picking up a copy of the Kid's album, Earthwork 4 Kids which was released just a few weeks ago, I highly recommend doing so! Everyone loves it... even my mom's bird, who, it appears, wants to join Breathe Owl Breathe.

Check out this great article that talks about the program that Melissa Sigh ran with some Earthwork crew members at the Red Cedar Elementary School. The concert on Friday went off without a hitch (well... maybe a little too much eight-legged ragging). Those kids are pretty incredible and they definitely couldn't ask for a sweeter teacher.
