Phil Wintermute
Feb. 26th, 1945 - Sept 8th, 2008
Fellow Earthworker and long-time friend to many of us in the Michigan music community, Phil Wintermute, died peacefully in his sleep on Sept. 8th. Phil was a celebrated songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, poet and photographer. He will be missed, but his songs will live on.
A memorial is being organized for Sunday September 28th at Magdalena's Teahouse starting at 4pm and carrying into the night. Please bring a dish to pass, and any photos, recordings, songs and stories of Phil you might have to share.
