Seedsis Earthwork Music's non-profit spouse, and we have been working together on local foods, youth empowerment and arts-based ecological education projects for 7 years. Seeds was established to foster local solutions to global issues. Seeds brings a holistic perspective, making connections between ecology and social justice. These days we are working with Seeds' after school programs, writing songs and performing with students across Michigan's Northwest Lower Peninsula. |

BioneersSeth and May have been attending, presenting and performing at the Great Lakes Bioneers Conference every year they have been together. Meeting at the crossroads of ecology and social justice, the Bioneers are engaged citizens from all walks of life who focus on solving our most urgent problems within a framework of interdependence: It is all connected. Taking care of nature means taking care of people -- and taking care of people means taking care of nature. Bioneers take a "solve-the-whole-problem" approach that is holistic, systemic, and multidisciplinary.Check out this Bioneers video, featuring an early version of an unreleased May song, "Make the Circle Wide". |
