About Mister Chris & Friends Earthwork musician, Chris Dorman (Mister Chris), is passionate about creating music for children and families. "Kiddos deserve their own music.", says Dorman, "and we are working everyday to write and record songs that respect their emotional intelligence and sense of wonder."
Chris lives with his family on their community farm, Bread & Butter Farm. With two children of his own, and a working farm landscape as home base, he has everyday inspiration for his growing song list for families. He also gets very honest feedback! It is his family and the land that inspired Chris to develop a music and movement program that aims to connect families to the land and to each other. It is called Music for Sprouts! In just two years, Chris (as Mister Chris) has shared music with hundreds of families in Vermont, and visited schools in Vermont, New York, and Michigan.
In July of 2014, enthusiastic fans and families of all ages showed their support and successfully funded a Kickstarter Campaign to enable the Mister Chris & Friends band to create a national debut album, "Always There"! The new album produced by Jared Slomoff is set to be released in 2015 and distributed far beyond the borders of the Green Mountain State!
